The City Tourism Office of Alaminos City, Pangasinan in partnership with BEMAC Electric Transportation Philippines Inc, launched the Alaminos City Eco-tour during the Tourism month last September 5 2017. The eco-tour started at the Lucap Park with the a tour guide from city tourism office joining each vehicle for the trip. What’s interesting in this eco tour is that the vehicle itself being used for the tour is eco-friendly, the BEMAC Model 68VM passenger electric tricycle. Each vehicle can sit comfortably 6 adult passengers and a driver. Starting from Lucap Park, the tour first made it stop on an organic farming village, then proceeded directly to Bued Mangrove forest. After a short presentation, tour participant can walk around the mangrove forest to see different type of mangroves growing in Alaminos City, the area is also great for bird watching. The tour then move on to its next stop the Bolo Beach and then to the E-kawayan Factory and Orchidarium before returning to Hundred Islands Multipurpose Hall via city proper of Alaminos City.

During this trip of almost a total of 45 KM, fully charged BEMAC Electric Tricycle drove through paved roads but sometimes needing to pass through short distances of rough road going to eco tour stops. MOA signing followed directly at the multipurpose hall attended by the Alaminos City Mayor Arthuro F. Celeste and City Tourism Officer Miguel Sison. Mr. Cyril Aguadera represented BEMAC Electric Transportation Philippines Inc. Also present on the MOA signing ceremony are the ABC President Raul Bacay and HIHTROA President Clydebs Busto.
