  • More car-buyers in the provinces are turning to AutoDeal to assist with their car buying needs with 41% of AutoDeal assisted sales originating from the provinces of Luzon.
  • Announcement comes at the same time as AutoDeal releases new features to improve customer fulfillment and safeguard users.

Makati City, Philippines (July 22, 2015) – AutoDeal.com.ph, a Philippine-based vehicle marketplace that specializes in helping car buyers research and acquire brand new vehicles, announced today that the company has helped contribute more than $10,000,000 USD (PHP 450,000,000) worth of brand new vehicle sales since January 2015.

The number comes from AutoDeal’s customer feedback service where customers actively report each successful vehicle purchase after being paired with one of AutoDeal’s partner dealerships.

“We’ve been receiving testimonies from car buyers across the country who used our platform to conveniently connect with a dealer ahead of making a trip to a showroom,” stated AutoDeal Co-Founder Christopher Franks. “While our initial feedback account for around PHP450,000,000 worth of vehicle sales, we’re confident that the platform has provided sales upward of PHP1-billion that range from subcompact hatchbacks to luxury SUV’s”.

Based on AutoDeal’s initial findings, the platform has been largely helpful to provincial buyers with 41% of total sales recorded in the provinces of Luzon and 16% from the Visayas and Mindanao. On the other hand, Metro Manila accounted for 43% of sales. Through its data, AutoDeal is also helping the industry identify new customer hot-spots in areas like Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, and Bulacan, which make up a significant portion of AutoDeal’s 250,000 monthly visitors.

The Philippine new-car industry continues to enjoy a period of growth with a 18% sales increase in May 2015 with 23,139 units sold as compared the same month last year. This is based on a combined report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA). The industry also grew by 20% in the first five months of 2015 versus the same period in 2014. AutoDeal aims to continue supporting this growth not only by providing its dealer and OEM partners with sales leads, but by focusing heavily on customer fulfillment.

“Lead generation by itself is not enough, that’s why we’ve built several back-end tools in AutoDeal that focus on customer fulfillment and data analytics for our clients,” added AutoDeal Co-Founder Daniel Scott.

Introduced in Q2 of 2015, AutoDeal’s new features provide car buyers with a portal to verify their contact details, create wish lists, subscribe for alerts from specific vehicle brands, and communicate more effectively with partner dealers across the AutoDeal platform.

Unlike general and car classifieds websites that focus on encouraging sales agents to post individual listings, AutoDeal works directly with new car dealers, importers, and manufacturers as a means to better safeguard online car buyers. Partner dealers are also provided with administrative features that allow them to invite and monitor their sales agents on the platform.

The announcement comes six months after AutoDeal announced early-stage funding from local Venture Capital Firm FutureNow Ventures.
