Carmudi Philippines and CAGI 2017 Partnership

  • Carmudi Philippines and CAGI Partner Again for a New Exciting 2017 Season

Online car platform Carmudi Philippines and Car Awards Group Inc. (CAGI), a 13-year organization of motoring journalists, partner again for the 2017 Car of the Year Philippines (COTY-P) and Truck of the Year Philippines (TOTY-P) awards.

Carmudi Philippines’ Chief Operating Officer Cholo Syquia and CAGI President Ronald Rey de los Reyes sealed the partnership with the same vision in mind of helping consumers by giving them informed choices on their vehicle purchases.

According to de los Reyes, the renewed partnership will also cover the inaugural Motorcycle of the Year-Philippines (MOTY-P) award.

“It’s finally about time to give due recognition to our two-wheeled contemporaries on the road and it’s a good thing Carmudi is here to ride along with us,” he said.

Carmudi Philippines–which has been in the motoring industry since 2014–has become the choice channel of both reputable sellers and prospective buyers of new and pre-owned vehicles.

According to Syquia, they are delighted to again team up with CAGI and excited by the organization’s plans for the near future.

“This renewed partnership with CAGI clearly shows that we share the same set of beliefs and are on the same mission”, Syquia said.

Carmudi Philippines PR and marketing head Kris Lim shared Syquia’s sentiments, saying that the renewed partnership is timely for the company.

“It’s been a great year for us to support again the Car of the Year-Philippines, especially now that Carmudi has ventured into publishing. This will provide us a thorough report on the latest model in the market-both for cars and motorcycles.”

“We are quite excited on this partnership as we leverage our platform in car buying both online and offline, across used and new,” Lim added

For his part, de los Reyes said that CAGI is ecstatic with its continued alliance with Carmudi Philippines as they are set to cover a wider audience with the introduction of the MOTY-P.

“With now an even wider reach, we get to have an opportunity to serve a much bigger market in our transport industry and somehow with our own efforts be able to encourage development of more advanced vehicles in the future,” he stated.
