The season 2017 Club R150 Cup Trackday opened last April 2, 2017. This is one of the most awaited events for the members of the club where everyone can ride at their limit in a safe environment, enhance their skills and test bike limitations. It is also a day for some to continue their unfinished business and to defend last race season title. The trackday was participated by members from different chapters of the club, guest riders from diffrent clubs such as Reborn Ph, ROCI, Azkhalz, SouthboysElite, Team Pasay, Makati Raiders, bagong barrio riders, bench brothers riders and more which also supported by different sponsors such as Ktuned, Dmac Race Humble, Backyardworkz, RR Shop, Boyetwerkz and Motokoloso.
The threatening clouds shows that the weather is likely to be bad, the rain pours early in the morning as unexpected signalling the trackday will be affected but it seems that it was just a moment of blessings for everyone inside the Carmona Race Track as the sun goes up and gave a wonderful shine. Riders suit up and bike engine rolled the moment the green flag was raised after trackday briefing conducted by Club President Ian Mediavilla and rider Ryan Tolentino.
Participants were divided into 3 categories: The Rookie – riders with zero racing experience and were just to have fun on their handle bars, the Open/Expert – riders with track experience and ready to sharpen up on their riding skills; and the Guest which is open for all race track enthusiast from different Clubs with some riders with competitive skills.
Each sessions were given a 20 minutes to twist their throttle, lean on the apex and beat their fastest lap. Since the beginning of Club R150 trackday, there was a fun race that became a great part of the event. Every one will test each individuals at most safe and competitive way.
From a single fun race, it became two but in 2017 categories became three (3): the Club R150 Rookie Cup, Club R150 Novice Cup, Club R150 Open/Expert which are all exclusives for members of the Club only, and another race open for all guest riders which is the Club R150 Fun Race. At exactly 3 o’clock, the fun races started.

Race track were filled with roaring engines. Every rider battling for the position. Mobile phones of spectators followed every rider passing and fighting each other while riders pushing their limits waiting until they see a chequered flag waving.
Some riders finished but some failed. Some of them satisfied their hunger on speed but some wants more. The chequered flag was waved and the round 1 is over. Before the sun set, new riders were awarded while some defended their title.
Trophies were given to the finishers together with loots and giveaways from our sponsors. Riders left the race track with another great memories of experience shared and inspired by each individual riders with one common goal to promote safety on speed-inclined riders and be informed that speed belongs inside the race track, Let’s race on the track not on the street.
