MDPPA Sticker Campaign

  • MDPPA furthers road safety advocacy, rolls out sticker campaign

The Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association (MDPPA), the premier group of motorcycle manufacturers in the country, distributed free stickers promoting the use of helmets at selected motorcycle dealerships in Metro Manila during the official roll out of its “Helmets Save Lives” campaign.

The campaign is in line with the association’s road safety advocacy and encourages riders to put the stickers on their motorcycles or helmets to serve as a constant reminder of the importance of wearing proper riding gear.
A total of 400 ‘Helmets Save Lives’ campaign stickers, 400 road safety manuals, and 120 key chains were distributed in Ropali Corporation dealer shop in Pasig, Motortrade Cubao, KServico Cubao, and Wheeltek Cubao.

“As a road safety advocate, we are saddened and alarmed to note that there are still motorists who fail to wear helmets. We believe that to promote road safety, we need to get as basic as making sure that everybody understands the benefits of wearing helmets,” MDPPA Board Member and Road Safety Committee Chairman Jacinto Cadugo shares.

Motorists can help spread the campaign by uploading a photo of their ‘Helmets Save Lives’ stickers fastened on their motorcycle or helmet on Facebook or Twitter as well as use the #MDPPARoadSafetyPH and #HelmetsSaveLives hashtags.
