Ropali Corporation Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Leading motorcycle retailer Ropali Corporation celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding with a grand party held on May 8, 2015 at the Manila Marriott Hotel. The event also commemorated the 65th birthday of its founder and President, Roberto P. Alingog.

Gracing the event were government officials and business partners, including former Senator Manny Villar, former Finance Secretary Gary Teves, LANDBANK President and CEO Gilda E. Pico, TECO Vice President George Lien, and Yanmar Japan Vice President Yasuji Arima. Also in attendance were Alingog’s family, friends, longtime employees, and trusted advisers.

Alingog thanked the guests during his keynote speech for their support over the company’s 40 years of operation. “The more we see of each other, the closer we shall be together,” he shared, recognizing their efforts.

A Holy Mass led by the Vicar-General of the Diocese of Isabela, Monsignor Marino Gatan started the event. Later, performances from Jojo Alejar and the Tigers, the REO Brothers, and Mackie Cao entertained guests.

Vincent Quimbo, founder and CEO of Novellino Wines, and Kawasaki Philippines President Jin Inoue received special acknowledgment for the gifts they presented during the event. Ropali Corporation also thanked Honda Philippines, Suzuki Philippines, and Yamaha Philippines for their tokens of appreciation.

Ropali Corporation was founded on May 12, 1975 as a retailer of agricultural machinery. The company has since transitioned into motorcycle retail and now operates over 124 stores across the Philippines.
