In its ongoing commitment to support technical education and nurture future automotive professionals, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) strengthened its partnership with Valenzuela City Technological College (ValTech) through the donation of vehicles, key automotive components, and workshop tools. The collaboration also includes the launch of a Diesel Technology Training Program for ValTech students, marking another milestone in IPC’s mission to advance automotive education in the country.
The partnership was initiated by Isuzu INTECO, IPC’s long-time dealer partner serving Valenzuela, who advocated for collaboration with ValTech to promote local skills development. Building on IPC’s previous partnerships with TESDA training centers in Tacloban and Biñan, this new initiative expands IPC’s educational outreach in northern Metro Manila. It reinforces the company’s advocacy for accessible, high-quality technical education—an embodiment of its core values of Responsibility to Society and Country. “At Isuzu, we believe that shaping the future of the automotive industry begins with shaping the people behind it,” said Mikio Tsukui, IPC President. “By supporting ValTech, we’re investing in the next generation of skilled technicians who will uphold Isuzu’s standards of quality and reliability.”

During the turnover ceremony, IPC formally handed over one Isuzu D-MAX 4×2 LS AT, one Isuzu Crosswind XL MT, and several key components including an MJT7S and JR405 Transmission Assembly, a 4JK1-TC turbocharged engine, and an RZ4E cut-away engine for instructional use. The donation also included essential workshop equipment such as a tire changer, wheel balancer, and tool balancer. These will enhance ValTech’s hands-on automotive training, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios through its “Learning Factory” model. “These vehicles and tools will transform the way our students learn—bridging theory and practice,” said Dr. Yolanda Gadon, ValTech President.
In addition, IPC will launch a Diesel Technology Training Program for 100 ValTech students in the first half of 2026. The program features classroom sessions and a plant visit to Isuzu’s manufacturing facility, giving participants both theoretical grounding and real-world experience. ValTech, being a local government college offering free technical education, has pledged to prioritize IPC and its dealership network for graduate placements, strengthening the supply of highly skilled technicians in the automotive workforce.
This initiative underscores IPC’s long-term commitment to nation-building through education and community partnership. With the active support of Isuzu INTECO, the company continues to empower future professionals while reinforcing its role as “Your Responsible Partner.” Through these efforts, Isuzu Philippines drives progress not only on the road but also in the lives of Filipinos—fostering education, skill development, and sustainable growth for the next generation.
