ACMobility Strengthens EV Spine with Shell Partnership, Targets 2,500+ Charging Points

ACMobility, Ayala’s mobility solutions group and a leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has officially partnered with Shell Pilipinas Corporation (Shell) to deploy new EV charging stations across Shell service stations nationwide. This collaboration marks a significant step in ACMobility’s mission to expand the Philippine EV Spine, the country’s first nationwide EV charging backbone, with a goal of installing over 2,500 charging points.

The Philippine EV Spine is ACMobility’s flagship nationwide network designed to support seamless, long-distance EV travel across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. By tapping Shell’s extensive network of stations in key locations, ACMobility aims to significantly expand charging access and reduce range anxiety for EV drivers, making every trip—whether for work, leisure, or long-haul travel—more convenient and stress-free.

The first phase of this partnership will see 50 Shell service stations equipped with ACMobility charging points, with over 100 charging units to be installed. The initial 20 sites will roll out beginning in the last quarter of 2025, followed by the remaining locations in 2026. Each site will feature DC fast chargers ranging from 60 to 120 kW, ensuring faster charging times for EV owners. All stations will be integrated into the Evro app, allowing users to locate, monitor, and pay for charging sessions seamlessly.
