All-New BYD Tang DM-i Officially Unveiled: Smart Performance Meets Premium Family Comfort

BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has officially launched the all-new BYD Tang DM-i, a 7-seater plug-in hybrid SUV designed to give Filipino families the freedom to go farther, drive smarter, and move with confidence every day. Combining BYD’s advanced Super DM-i powertrain with premium comfort and intelligent safety, the Tang DM-i redefines expectations for electrified family mobility.

The BYD Tang DM-i is powered by a turbocharged onboard generator paired with a 21.5 kWh Blade Battery, producing 271 PS and 315 Nm of torque for smooth and responsive driving, with a 0–100 km/h time of 7.5 seconds. Its over 1,000 km combined range and 110 km pure EV range provide exceptional efficiency for both daily commutes and long-distance drives. Charging is convenient, with AC charging (15–100%) taking about three hours and DC fast charging (30–80%) in just 22 minutes. It also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, perfect for powering devices during trips or emergencies.

Inside, the Tang DM-i offers a spacious 7-seater cabin, premium finishes, and advanced tech including a 15.6-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, NFC card access, and a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system. Its flexible seating layout makes it ideal for family trips, commutes, and weekend adventures.

Safety is a priority with the inclusion of BYD’s DiPilot ADAS suite, featuring adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and a 360-degree camera. These intelligent systems ensure security and peace of mind on every journey.
