BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, continues to strengthen its footprint in the country’s electric vehicle (EV) market with the opening of six new dealerships across Luzon and the Visayas. Strategically located in Bacoor (Cavite), Sta. Rosa (Laguna), Subic (Zambales), and Cebu, these new facilities make BYD’s innovative New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), charging infrastructure, and aftersales services more accessible to Filipino motorists seeking cleaner, smarter transportation solutions.
“BYD’s rapid expansion in the Philippines is a testament to our commitment to delivering groundbreaking EVs and services to more communities,” said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines. “Together with ACMobility’s growing nationwide EV charging network, we aim to drive sustainable mobility forward and make the cost-saving benefits of EV ownership more attainable for Filipinos.”
To reach high-growth areas just outside Metro Manila, BYD has partnered with local dealers to establish a strong presence across Southern and Central Luzon.
In Cavite, BYD Bacoor features a six-car showroom, a V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) display, a café-style customer lounge, a 10-bay service workshop, five EV chargers, and 20 parking slots. It marks the fourth dealership operated by Iconic Dealership Inc., the retail arm of ACMobility.
In Laguna, BYD Sta. Rosa offers a 10-car showroom, eight work bays, and a comfortable lounge, equipped with three 30kW DC chargers and four 7kW AC chargers to serve the growing EV market in the CALABARZON region.
Further north, BYD Subic, operated by Harmony Auto Group Philippines, caters to customers from Zambales and Bataan. This 1,754-sqm facility includes a nine-car showroom, VIP lounge, LED displays, six service bays, and five 7kW AC chargers. A 30kW DC charger will also be installed soon to support public charging.
Anchoring BYD’s presence in the Visayas is BYD Cebu Central, currently the brand’s largest dealership in the country with a 7,246-sqm floor area. Located in the North Reclamation Area, the dealership boasts a 12-car showroom, 14 service bays, a BYD Café, and shuttle service. It also houses a dedicated floor for body repair and paint services.
Supporting ACMobility’s Charge Forward program—which aims to deploy over 700 EV charging stations nationwide by 2025—BYD Cebu Central is equipped with three 7kW AC chargers and one 30kW DC charger.
In addition, BYD Ayala Cebu and BYD Il Corso, a lifestyle-focused EV hub, expand BYD’s reach across the island. The Ayala Cebu branch features two 22kW AC chargers, while Il Corso offers four 7kW AC chargers and will soon have a 30kW DC charger available to the public.
Further expansion is underway with BYD Cebu South currently under construction, which will bring NEVs and charging infrastructure to even more communities in Central Visayas.
“These new dealerships are just the beginning,” said Adam Hu, Country Head of BYD Philippines. “With 77 showrooms and service centers planned for rollout in 2025, we are building a robust nationwide ecosystem to support the long-term growth and adoption of electric vehicles. This reflects our global leadership as the world’s No. 1 New Energy Vehicle brand.”
This rapid dealership expansion highlights the shared mission of BYD Cars Philippines and ACMobility: to lead the national shift toward electric mobility by offering world-class vehicles, a reliable charging network, and exceptional customer service.
