The BYD Atto 3 continues to solidify its position as the top-selling battery electric vehicle (BEV) SUV in the Philippines, with over 1,062 units sold in its first year. As it enters 2025, the Atto 3 is receiving exciting new updates that enhance its design, functionality, and appeal, making it even more competitive in the expanding local EV market. BYD Cars Philippines, in partnership with ACMobility, is introducing these improvements following the model’s remarkable sales achievement in 2024.

One of the most notable updates for the 2025 BYD Atto 3 is the addition of a power tailgate for the Premium variant, offering greater convenience and ease of use. The vehicle’s exterior has also been refreshed, with gloss black accents on the D-pillar garnish and window trim, as well as a new Cosmos Black color option. These aesthetic enhancements give the Atto 3 a more elegant and modern appearance, while the Premium variant’s wider 235/50/R18 Continental tires improve handling and driving performance.

Inside, the new BYD Atto 3 offers upgraded features to ensure a more comfortable and stylish driving experience. Ambient lighting is now available for both the Dynamic and Premium variants, creating a more relaxing cabin atmosphere. The addition of a PM 2.5 air filter with on-screen monitoring ensures better interior air quality, contributing to a healthier environment for passengers. For a seamless user experience, the Premium variant also receives a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display with enhanced visuals and functionality.

Despite these updates, the Atto 3 retains its powerful 204 PS electric motor and two Blade Battery options, providing up to 480 kilometers of range depending on the variant. Priced competitively at Php 1,598,000 for the Dynamic variant and Php 1,798,000 for the Premium, the Atto 3 remains an accessible yet high-quality option for Filipino drivers transitioning to electric vehicles. The extensive warranty coverage—up to 8 years or 160,000 kilometers for the battery—further strengthens its appeal in the BEV market.
