BYD Cars Philippines successfully capped its participation in the IRONMAN 70.3 Davao, with both its celebrity and corporate triathlon teams delivering impressive Top 8 finishes in one of the country’s premier endurance events. The achievement highlights the brand’s alignment with performance, resilience, and innovation—values shared by the global triathlon community.
Out of more than 900 participants, the BYD Celebrity Relay Team composed of Wil Dasovich (Swim), Alden Richards (Bike), and Nico Bolzico (Run) secured a Top 8 finish out of 32 teams in the Male Relay Category. Their strong performance showcased teamwork and consistency, capping off a remarkable week that included Wil’s cross-country “Drive Electric. Love Pinas.” journey—an अभियान powered by BYD and ACMobility in partnership with the Department of Tourism to promote electrification across the Philippines.

Equally impressive was the performance of the BYD Triathlon Team, composed of two-time Olympic swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi, endurance athlete Jennifer Uy, and seasoned international triathlete Jens Jacobsen. The team also finished in the Top 8 out of 34 teams in their division, further demonstrating the strength and competitiveness of BYD’s athlete roster in one of the country’s most demanding endurance races.
BYD’s partnership with IRONMAN 70.3 Davao underscores its commitment to supporting high-performance pursuits while advancing sustainable mobility solutions. “We are extremely proud of both teams who powered through the event; their performance reflects the discipline and resilience we value at ACMobility,” said Dino Obias, Chief Marketing Officer of ACMobility. “Through initiatives like ‘Drive Electric. Love Pinas,’ we continue to show how our technology empowers every Filipino’s journey—from athletes pushing limits to travelers exploring the country.”
