BYD Cars Philippines Starts 2025 Strong with New Dealerships and Local Awards

• BYD now has 29 active dealerships nationwide, aiming for 77 by the end of 2025.

BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has kicked off 2025 with strong momentum, opening nine new dealerships across the country. Covering strategic locations in Metro Manila, Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, these new facilities underscore BYD’s commitment to making electric mobility more accessible to Filipinos.

In just the first two months of the year, BYD also broke ground on three additional dealerships, reinforcing its expansion strategy. By the end of 2025, the brand will have 77 dealerships nationwide, giving more Filipinos access to its growing lineup of new energy vehicles (NEVs).

Expanding in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon

Six of the new dealerships are located in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon:

• BYD Manila Bay, managed by Iconic Dealership Inc., is now the largest BYD showroom and service center in the country. Located in Aseana City, the 3,000 sqm facility houses two display floors for up to 18 EVs, 11 service bays, and 10 chargers (8 AC, 2 DC fast chargers).
• BYD Batangas, the latest venture by Harmony Auto Philippines, joins its Commonwealth, Fairview, and Global City locations. This dealership also created over 60 new local jobs.
• BYD Chinatown is the first-ever car dealership in Binondo and follows BYD’s global design standards, featuring seven display slots and 10 service bays.
• BYD Alabang, located at One Prime Tower, spans 1,811.89 sqm, showcasing eight vehicles and offering five service bays for sales and after-sales support.

Strengthening Presence in Visayas and Mindanao

• BYD Iloilo, managed by Central EV Inc., is the city’s first electric vehicle dealership, with a nine-car display, six service bays, and multiple chargers including a 150 kW DC unit.
• BYD Negros, operated by VCY Mobility Ventures, is a 4,000 sqm facility in Talisay City featuring nine service bays and a 100 kW solar installation.
• BYD Cagayan de Oro, managed by Magnet Motors Corp., is located along KM3, Kauswagan National Highway, with six service bays and a dedicated customer café.

New Dealerships Breaking Ground

In February 2025, BYD broke ground on new dealerships in Baliwag, Carmona, and Dasmariñas. Dasmariñas will also offer three AC chargers and one DC fast charger. Earlier, a groundbreaking in Nueva Ecija and a partnership with SEAelectric Philippines Inc. in La Union further emphasized BYD’s goal of reaching underserved areas and promoting sustainable mobility.

With 29 operational dealerships as of Q1 2025, BYD is rapidly building a robust national network.
