As a global leader in electric vehicle technology, BYD has produced 10 million New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), a milestone that highlights the company’s rapid growth and ongoing efforts to drive the global transition toward sustainable mobility. With the Seal 5 DM-i, BYD continues this legacy, bringing its cutting-edge technology to the Filipino market.

A Sedan Tailored for First-Time Buyers

The BYD Seal 5 DM-i is positioned as a practical yet high-performance vehicle for first-time car buyers. Available in Dynamic and Premium variants, the sedan combines sleek design with advanced features, offering an ideal blend of technology, safety, and performance. The 4,780 mm long, 1,837 mm wide, and 1,495 mm high body offers a spacious interior, while a 2,718 mm wheelbase enhances stability and ride comfort.

Both variants of the BYD Seal 5 DM-i feature BYD’s Blade battery technology, offering an electric-only range of up to 50 km for the Dynamic variant and 115 km for the Premium. These vehicles deliver excellent performance, with the Dynamic version producing 179 PS and 316 Nm of torque, while the Premium variant boasts 197 PS and 325 Nm of torque, ensuring swift acceleration and a smooth ride.

Safety and Convenience at Its Core

Safety remains a priority, with features such as rear sensors, cameras, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Traction Control System (TCS), and six airbags across both variants. The BYD Seal 5 DM-i also includes advanced driving aids such as a 360-degree camera (in Premium) and Over-the-Air (OTA) update capabilities, ensuring the vehicle is equipped with the latest software enhancements.

With a starting price of Php 948,000 for the Dynamic variant and Php 1,198,000 for the Premium variant, the BYD Seal 5 DM-i offers excellent value for first-time car buyers. It comes with an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the battery, an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty on the drive unit, and a 6-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty.
