The first-ever CFMOTO MT Challenge roared to life in Melbourne, Australia, bringing together 72 passionate riders from across the globe for two action-packed days of riding, teamwork, and adventure. Designed to test both skill and camaraderie, the event featured a series of challenges centered around the CFMOTO 800MT-X, the brand’s adventure flagship motorcycle. Teams from 18 countries competed in riding tasks that highlighted the 800MT-X’s versatility and performance across varied terrains, from tight turns to rugged trails.
Day one featured the Venue Challenge, where participants took on 10 unique tasks, including the “Figures 8 Plus Challenge,” “SENA Blindfold Control Challenge,” and the “Kangaroo Chase Challenge.” Each test pushed riders’ balance, coordination, and communication skills to the limit while keeping the atmosphere light-hearted and fun. The second day shifted to the Adventure Challenge, a 180-kilometer test of endurance and navigation through forests, dirt tracks, and steep climbs, culminating in the thrilling “Victory Trail Challenge.”

Team Mongolia and Team Turkey, despite missing members, joined forces to compete together, symbolizing the camaraderie that defines the event. The lone female participant, Jazmin Judith Bautista Vega from Team Mexico, earned the Best MT Spirit Award for her determination and resilience. In the end, Team New Zealand emerged victorious, followed by Team Romania and Team West Balkan, with standout riders Chris Power, Julian Raduta, and Tim Coleman recognized for their individual excellence.

The CFMOTO 800MT-X, with its 95hp engine, 87Nm torque, cornering ABS, traction control, and superior ergonomics, proved to be the perfect partner for the challenge. Its combination of strength, agility, and durability allowed riders to push their limits while maintaining control and confidence.
