Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the country’s No. 1 motorcycle manufacturer, recently hosted the PCXceptional Ride on August 29, 2025, giving media representatives and moto vloggers an exclusive chance to experience the all-new Honda PCX160’s premium performance and comfort. Designed to highlight the scooter’s standout capabilities, the event put participants right where the PCX160 excels most—out on the open road, where style, technology, and performance seamlessly come together.

The ride began at the Honda Safety Driving Center in Parañaque City and headed towards Café Cecilia in Tanay, Rizal, a scenic destination perfect for showcasing the PCX160’s blend of urban, uphill, and countryside riding. Both the Standard and RoadSync variants impressed riders with their smooth acceleration powered by a 157cc ESP+ engine, delivering 11.8 kW at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. With fuel efficiency reaching 46 km/L and added riding comfort through its spacious foot area, participants appreciated the scooter’s balance of power, practicality, and premium feel.

Confidence on the road was another highlight, thanks to advanced safety features. Riders noted how the RoadSync variant’s ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) provided stability and improved traction even on wet surfaces, while the twin rear shocks with subtanks offered superior ride quality. Meanwhile, the Standard type impressed with its Combi Brake System and reliable front and rear disc brakes. Style also turned heads with its sharp LED lighting and sophisticated color options—from Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic to Vortex Red Metallic, ensuring riders stood out on the road.

Smart features elevated the PCX160’s everyday practicality. The Honda Smart Key System, USB Type-C charger, and spacious 30-liter luggage box made daily commutes and long rides more convenient. Riders of the RoadSync type particularly enjoyed the Honda RoadSync system, which allowed hands-free navigation, calls, and music through its TFT meter panel and voice HMI. The event wrapped up at Café Cecilia, where participants shared their experiences over refreshments, reinforcing Honda’s commitment to delivering mobility with elegance and exceptional performance. The PCX160 Standard type retails at PhP133,400.00, while the RoadSync type is priced at PhP154,900.00, now available at all Honda dealerships nationwide.
