Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) reaffirmed its commitment to nation-building and community development through the formal turnover of equipment, furniture, and fixtures to the Child Neuroscience Division of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC). The donation supports the hospital’s expanding pediatric neurology services, particularly within its newly established Brain Center.
The contribution will help equip the Third Floor Left Wing of the New Brain Center Building, which houses specialized facilities for children with neurological, neurosurgical, developmental, and behavioral conditions. By providing essential furnishings such as office desks, chairs, storage units, and child-friendly tables and seating, IPC aims to help jumpstart operations while creating a more organized and welcoming environment for both healthcare professionals and young patients.

As one of the country’s leading pediatric hospitals, PCMC serves thousands of Filipino families each year, many of whom depend on accessible public healthcare for specialized treatment. With the increasing number of cases involving neurological and developmental conditions among children, the expansion of the Brain Center marks a significant step in strengthening the country’s pediatric healthcare capacity. IPC’s support comes at a crucial time as the hospital enhances its ability to deliver quality care to more patients.
The deed of donation signing and turnover ceremony was attended by IPC President Mikio Tsukui and PCMC Executive Director Cecilia O. Gan, highlighting the shared commitment of both institutions to improving healthcare access. IPC emphasized that supporting healthcare initiatives aligns with its broader corporate social responsibility programs and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
Through initiatives like this, IPC continues to extend its impact beyond mobility solutions, supporting programs that uplift communities and strengthen public institutions. By contributing to improved healthcare infrastructure, the company reinforces its role as a responsible partner in building healthier, more resilient communities for future generations.
