Isuzu Reinforces Commitment to LGUs with 20 TRAVIZ Units for Lambunao, Iloilo

Strengthening its commitment to nation-building and community support, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), together with its partner dealer Isuzu Iloilo, formally turned over 20 units of the Isuzu TRAVIZ L to the Municipality of Lambunaoin Iloilo. The turnover highlights Isuzu’s continued partnership with local government units (LGUs) in improving mobility and strengthening the delivery of essential public services at the community level.

The newly delivered TRAVIZ L units will be deployed across various barangays in Lambunao as multi-purpose service vehicles. Known for its maneuverability and versatility, the TRAVIZ will support emergency response and disaster relief operations, community outreach activities, logistics for health and social programs, and the transport of barangay personnel, supplies, and equipment. With each barangay able to utilize its assigned vehicle based on local priorities, the initiative aims to ensure faster and more responsive public service delivery.

Present during the ceremony were IPC Vice President for Sales Shunsuke Yasui, Isuzu Iloilo Branch Manager Vanessa Lutero, and Lambunao Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Chairman Mary Floridette Yu, underscoring the strong collaboration between the LGU and the Isuzu network. Yasui emphasized that the turnover reflects Isuzu’s long-standing commitment to supporting local communities through dependable mobility solutions that help frontline teams perform their duties more efficiently.

Designed to navigate narrow barangay roads and rural pathways, the TRAVIZ combines compact dimensions with reliable diesel performance, making it a practical operational asset for local governments. Powered by the dependable 4JA1 Blue Power diesel engine and supported by Isuzu’s nationwide aftersales network, the vehicles offer durability, fuel efficiency, and ease of maintenance. With these new units, Lambunao further strengthens its capacity to deliver timely services and respond effectively to the needs of its communities.
