JAECOO Philippines has officially announced the arrival of its fully electric SUV, the EJ6, which will debut at the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit. Landing in Manila on October 21, this off-road-capable premium electric SUV promises to be a game-changer in the country’s move towards sustainable mobility. Known globally as the iCar 03, the EJ6 embodies JAECOO’s fusion of advanced technology, power, and aesthetics with a unique “off-road trendy” design philosophy, built to conquer a variety of terrains.
Equipped with a cutting-edge six-in-one motor system, the EJ6 offers two powertrain options: a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variant powered by a single motor with 135 KW and 220 Nm of torque, and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) version with dual motors generating 205 KW and 385 Nm. The EJ6 features an 80 KW fast-charging battery, which charges from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, and V2L (vehicle-to-load) functionality. The RWD variant has a 65.69 kWh battery with a range of 421 km, while the AWD version offers a slightly larger 69.77 kWh battery with the same range.

Inside, the EJ6 is packed with modern comforts, including a 9.2-inch instrument panel, 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, panoramic glass roof, 50-watt Qi wireless charger, and an optional 12-speaker Infinity sound system. With its all-aluminum body, compact dimensions (4,406 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,715 mm in height), and a wheelbase of 2,715 mm, the EJ6 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. Pricing details will be announced soon, with test drives and pre-orders available at the Electric Vehicle Summit on October 24-26 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
