Kia Philippines, under ACMobility, has recorded a remarkable 71% sales increase in the first half of 2025, selling 4,195 units and becoming the fastest-growing automotive brand among the top ten in the country, according to CAMPI. This strong performance underscores the brand’s rising influence in the local market and highlights growing consumer preference for Kia’s dynamic vehicle lineup. Managing Director Jay Lopez credited the milestone to Kia’s commitment to innovation, a broader national footprint, and its evolving role in future-forward mobility.
Driving Kia’s success is the Sonet, its fuel-efficient subcompact SUV, which led sales with over 3,171 units sold. Its popularity, especially among young and first-time drivers, was recently celebrated with a first anniversary convoy of over 60 Sonet owners. Other models contributing to Kia’s growth include the Sorento, which posted triple-digit gains due to rising hybrid demand, alongside the Carnival and fully electric offerings like the EV6 and EV9. This electrified and diverse lineup reflects Kia’s ongoing focus on modern mobility solutions tailored to varied lifestyles.
This growth is anchored in “The Kia Movement,” a nationwide initiative that unites Kia’s products under a shared vision of sustainable, progressive, and customer-centric transportation. Supported by its strategic partnership with ACMobility, the Ayala Group’s mobility arm, Kia has expanded its reach through collaborative efforts in EV infrastructure, digital innovation, and brand awareness—making the brand more accessible to a wider market of Filipino drivers.
Looking ahead, Kia remains focused on deepening customer connections and accelerating its electrification plans. The company’s upward trajectory reflects its emphasis on reliability, smart design, and sustainable mobility. As the second half of 2025 unfolds, Kia is set to continue evolving its lineup, expanding customer engagement, and driving forward with purpose.
