Kia Philippines Posts 16.7% Growth in 2025, Driven by Strong Demand for Key Models

Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, recorded a strong 16.7% year-on-year growth in 2025, emerging as the fastest-growing mainstream established automotive brand in the country. Retail sales climbed from 6,692 units in 2024 to 7,810 units in 2025, reflecting growing consumer confidence in Kia’s product lineup and its commitment to delivering value, innovation, and reliability to Filipino motorists.

Meanwhile, the Kia Sonet emerged as a major growth driver, ranking second in the highly competitive entry subcompact SUV segment with a 54% year-on-year increase. The launch of the Sonet K-Style Edition further boosted momentum, offering a more expressive design that resonates with today’s style-conscious drivers.

In 2025, Kia Philippines also completed its three-prong powertrain portfolio, offering fuel-powered, fully electric, and turbo-hybrid options. The introduction of turbo-hybrid models such as the Kia Sorento 7-seater Hybrid and the Kia Carnival Turbo Hybrid expanded Kia’s market reach, appealing to customers seeking a balance of performance, efficiency, and sustainability. This strategy underscores Kia’s role in supporting the country’s transition toward more sustainable mobility.
