YAMAHA WRAPS UP THRILLING YAMAHA MOTORSHOW 2025: THE EDGE OF SPEED

Yamaha Motor Philippines wrapped up the Yamaha Motorshow 2025: The Edge of Speed, a three-day showcase held from August 1 to 3 at One Ayala, Level 2 Concourse in Makati City. Designed to highlight speed, performance, and innovation, the event brought together Yamaha’s latest machines, motorsport icons, and passionate riders. More than just a product launch, it was a celebration of Yamaha’s growing community and its continued mission to push the limits of two-wheeled excellence.

The motorshow roared to life with the official unveiling of the all-new Aerox and Aerox SP, hailed as Yamaha’s fastest automatic scooters yet. Sporting bold, aerodynamic designs with updated smart features and enhanced performance, the new Aerox line promises everyday practicality fused with supersport energy. The launch theme, “Fast Never Looks Back,” perfectly captured Yamaha’s forward-looking approach to mobility and innovation.

Day two focused on Yamaha’s racing pedigree and community spirit. The crowd was treated to special appearances by the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team and Yamaha Thailand Racing Team, stars of the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC). Simultaneously, the Yamaha Club (YClub) gathered members from across the country for a day filled with exclusive activities, games, and shared experiences—highlighting the sense of unity and pride among Yamaha riders. A special moment also honored Joaquin Fernandez, winner of the Moto Time Attack during the “Yamaha on the Grid” event held last June at Clark International Speedway.

The final day, dubbed Sport Machine Night, turned up the excitement with the exclusive preview of the all-new Yamaha R9, Yamaha’s next high-performance sportbike. This future-ready machine showcased the brand’s fusion of design, agility, and raw power. Adding to the evening’s energy were members of the Drama Motoclub—celebrities Jake Cuenca, John Prats, Sancho Vito, Marc Solis, and Gerald Anderson—who made a special appearance, amplifying the celebration with star-studded enthusiasm.

With new models, racing action, and a thriving community, the Yamaha Motorshow 2025 embodied everything the brand stands for—speed, innovation, and unity.
