Honda Philippines – RS 150 Appreciation Day

Honda Philippines – RS 150 Appreciation Day

Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) continues to express its gratitude to its customers by holding an Appreciation Day for RS 150 riders in Luzon and Cebu.  The activity was participated in by a total of 124 riders from RS 150 Nation, RS 150 Philippines and RS 150 Team Cebu Assassins.

The first leg of the Appreciation Day was held on August 21, 2016 and opened at the Honda Safety Driving Center in Paranaque City and participated in by members of the RS 150 Nation and RS 150 Philippines.  The activity was attended by HPI’s General Manager for Motorcycle Sales, Mr. Hideo Nishinaga and the Assistant Vice President for Customer Service Operations, Mr. Tomoaki Watanabe.  The riders were treated to a morning filled with games, raffle prizes and food. They were also given some points on “Gen S”, Honda’s latest technologies, so they can better understand the features of Honda’s latest product line.    Honda Safety Driving Instructors also oriented the riders on safety tips when going on group rides.  HSDC also prepared a special track ride for the riders within the safety of its facilities where they were given actual tips on how to handle various road conditions.

After lunch, the group rode to Tagaytay where a sumptuous dinner was waiting for the riders.  Rain poured during the ride, but with their newly refreshed safety riding skills and dependable motorcycles, the group reached their destination without a hitch.  More prizes were raffled, food served and stories and laughs shared.  After the never-ending selfies and photo sessions, riders went home safe and contented.

After a week, on August 28, 2016, the second leg of the Appreciation Day was held in Cebu City.  The Cebu Appreciation Day was joined by RS 150 Team Cebu Assassins while members of the RS 150 Team Bohol also graced the occasion.  The activity was formally opened at the HPI Cebu Depot.  Riders were also treated to games, raffles and meals.  They were also given orientations on the Gen S Technology and group safety riding tips.

After the short program at the HPI Cebu Depot, the group rode to Taloot Wharf in Argao City where they were treated to fresh seafoods for lunch.  During the ride, the group encountered heavy traffic along the way, but their motorcycles allowed them to pass through without hassles.  After lunch, the riders challenged each other in a Videoke Match where winners will receive exclusive Honda Jackets as prizes.  After enjoying the food and the fresh breeze, the group rode back and stopped over the well-known Carcar Church and Naga Baywalk.  The riders then proceeded to the Royal Concourse Restaurant for their dinner where more raffle prizes were given away.  At the end of the day, everyone was still in high spirits despite the long ride and eager to schedule the next get together.

IMG_0322It was a day filled with food, fun, friendship and familiarity with the motorcycle lifestyle that is only, truly Honda.  As the Appreciation Day activities concluded, the riders felt at ease knowing Honda has their backs – all the time.  HPI wishes to extend its special thanks to Mr. Roderick Abasalon of RS 150 Nation, Mr. Caloy Yamzon of RS 150 Philippines and Mr. Marky Macarayan of RS 150 Team Cebu Assassins for always supporting Honda’s activities and doing an exceptional job in leading their respective clubs.

HPI’s appreciation goes way beyond an individual buying its products.  It beholds every single customer for taking part in making Honda’s principles live on.  HPI will always be grateful to each rider who chooses Honda to be a part of their daily lives.  There are so many great things we have in store for all the steadfast Honda enthusiasts out there.  So, to all the Honda Clubs out there, just holler and we will come for you.  This is only the beginning because the best is yet to come!
