BYD Showcases Cutting-Edge Electric Vehicles at De La Salle University: Bringing Sustainable Mobility to the Next Generation

BYD Cars Philippines, along with its official distributor ACMobility, brought their first-ever campus tech showcase to De La Salle University (DLSU) from February 10 to 12, 2025, at the Henry Sy Sr. Hall Grounds. The event allowed students, faculty, and staff to explore the latest in electric vehicle technology and experience the future of transportation firsthand.

This showcase at De La Salle University is a crucial step in making electric vehicles more accessible to young Filipinos, sparking curiosity and encouraging them to drive positive change for their communities and the planet,” said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines.

BYD Tech Tour: Showcasing the Future of Electric Mobility
The BYD Tech Tour featured an impressive lineup of electric vehicles, including the Sealion 6 DM-i, Seagull, and Seal. Attendees enjoyed live demonstrations and hands-on experiences, with product specialists on hand to answer questions and share key features. The event also included interactive activities to promote EV awareness and sustainability, with exclusive prizes from ACMobility adding to the excitement.

In addition to the vehicle showcase, the DLSU Eco Archers Team presented their Zeta Urban Concept vehicle, competing in the Shell Eco-Marathon. BYD’s Country Head, Aiffy Liu, expressed the company’s pride in supporting sustainability and innovation, aiming to inspire the next generation to embrace green technology.
