Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) proudly concluded the 20th Isuzu Service Skills Olympics (ISSO) on April 26, 2025, celebrating two decades of technical mastery and aftersales excellence across its nationwide dealership network. With the theme “Honoring Skills, Gearing the Future,” this year’s ISSO reaffirmed IPC’s commitment to being a “Responsible Partner,” upholding global standards not only in product quality but in delivering exceptional customer service—a key factor in maintaining Isuzu’s long-standing dominance as the number one truck brand in the Philippines.
The ISSO featured three main competition categories—Parts Staff, Service Advisor, and Service Technician—each designed to test participants’ technical skills, customer service abilities, and critical thinking under pressure. The competition evaluated real-world scenarios, including parts identification using digital platforms, service consultation best practices, and hands-on diagnostic tasks using Isuzu’s Light and Commercial Vehicles. This comprehensive skills challenge reflects IPC’s dedication to continuous learning and professional growth among its dealership personnel.

Champions from across the country were recognized for their exceptional performance. Isuzu Makati, Calapan, and Butuan were crowned champions in the Parts Staff, Service Advisor, and Service Technician categories, respectively. Notably, Mr. Sani James Maghanoy of Isuzu Cagayan De Oro received the Special Top Technician Award for outstanding technical performance. Through programs like the ISSO, IPC continues to invest in talent development, ensuring that its network is equipped to meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry and maintain its leadership in service excellence.
