Geely EX5 Rolls Out First Major Upgrades Globally to Elevate the Intelligent Mobility Experience

Geely Auto has announced the first major global upgrade for its next-generation all-electric SUV, the Geely EX5, set to roll out from mid-August to late September. This update focuses on three key enhancements—CarPlay integration, refined Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) sounds, and expanded multi-language support—further elevating the intelligent cabin experience. The update introduces CarPlay integration with steering wheel voice control and one-touch activation, providing seamless access to voice dialing, navigation, and music platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify. The AVAS low-speed alert system now comes with a more distinctive but quieter tone for improved pedestrian safety and cabin comfort. Meanwhile, expanded language support adds Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Polish, while also refining English and other languages for more immersive functionality, enhancing the vehicle’s appeal across diverse global markets.

Underpinning these upgrades is the GEEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture, which consolidates 14 traditional body control modules into just two, creating a “Central Super Brain + regional control” system.
