TJ Alberto Clinches 5th PSBK Title as Troy Edges Closer to 2nd After Fierce Battle at Clark

Access Plus Racing once again dominated the track at Round 6 of the 2025 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) held at Clark International Speedway (CIS), claiming another impressive 1-2-3 finish. Timothy Joseph “TJ” Alberto sealed his 5th consecutive PSBK Pro Class title aboard the Ducati Panigale V4 after two commanding race wins, while younger brother Troy Alberto delivered a strong performance that pushed him up to 2nd overall in the standings.

Race 1 saw TJ charge from pole position and maintain control after a brief challenge from Marvin Mangulabnan, who crashed out mid-race while battling for the lead. The mishap allowed TJ and Troy to cruise to a comfortable 1-2 finish, with Jan Timbol completing the all-Ducati podium for Access Plus Racing. In Race 2, Troy initially led the pack before TJ made a decisive move to secure another victory, cementing his championship triumph. Meanwhile, a tight duel between Troy and Mangulabnan for second place ended in a photo finish, with the Aprilia rider edging ahead by a mere 0.029 seconds.

With one round remaining, TJ’s back-to-back victories not only earned him his fifth straight championship but also solidified Access Plus Racing’s dominance in the series. Troy’s consistent performance has now placed him 10 points clear of Mangulabnan in the battle for the runner-up spot. As the team prepares for the season finale on November 22–23 at Clark, TJ aims to help his brother lock in 2nd place, while the squad looks forward to closing the year on a high.
