Suzuki Philippines Opens Business Operations Simulation Facility at Don Bosco College Canlubang

Suzuki Philippines officially inaugurated its Business Operations Simulation Facility on April 16, 2026, at Don Bosco College Canlubang, marking a significant step in strengthening industry-academic collaboration in automotive education. Developed in partnership with the institution, the facility is designed to provide students with practical exposure to real-world dealership operations within an educational environment. Don Bosco College, known for its Salesian educational framework and Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, continues to equip students with industry-relevant technical skills and applied automotive competencies.

During the inauguration ceremony, Koichiro Hirao formally presented the authorization to operate the facility to Fr. Jeffrey Mangubat, reinforcing the shared commitment to preparing future professionals for careers in the automotive industry. The simulation facility replicates actual dealership operations, integrating functions such as sales, aftersales service, customer engagement, diagnostics, repair procedures, parts handling, and post-service support. Through guided training modules and scenario-based activities, students gain hands-on experience in a controlled setting that mirrors workplace conditions in the automotive sector.

By bridging classroom instruction with practical application, the initiative aims to develop graduates who are not only technically skilled but also equipped with professionalism, customer-oriented service, and problem-solving capabilities. The project further reflects Suzuki Philippines’ ongoing commitment to workforce development and education under its “By Your Side” philosophy. As the company continues to support programs that nurture future automotive professionals, the partnership with Don Bosco College highlights the growing importance of industry-driven training in preparing students for the evolving demands of the mobility sector.
