Access Plus Racing is set to begin a new chapter in its Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) campaign as the team unveils Ducati’s all-new 7th-generation Panigale V4 ahead of the 2026 season. Leading the charge once again are reigning champion Timothy Joseph Alberto and younger brother Troy Alberto as the squad targets a remarkable sixth consecutive PSBK Rider of the Year title. Developed using technology and experience derived from Ducati’s MotoGP and World Superbike programs, the heavily revised Panigale V4 introduces major updates including a new double-sided swingarm, revised aerodynamics, lighter chassis, and the latest 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine producing 228 horsepower.
Initial testing at Batangas Racing Circuit and Clark International Speedway has already delivered promising results for Access Plus Racing, with the new machine immediately showing pace close to last season’s benchmark times despite limited running. The team believes the new Panigale V4 offers even greater potential than its championship-winning predecessor as development continues throughout the year. TJ Alberto enters the season focused on defending his crown and extending the team’s championship streak, while Troy Alberto aims to build on his runner-up finish in 2025 and mount a stronger title challenge of his own.

The 2026 PSBK season returns to a six-round calendar beginning this weekend at Batangas Racing Circuit on May 16–17, followed by back-to-back rounds at Clark International Speedway before returning to Batangas for another double-header. The championship finale will once again be held at Clark later in November. With a new motorcycle, a refreshed grid, and stronger competition expected throughout the paddock, Access Plus Racing heads into the new season determined to maintain its position at the forefront of Philippine superbike racing.
