V-GREEN Expands EV Infrastructure Network in the Philippines Through New Partnerships in Bataan and Cavite

V-GREEN, the global electric vehicle charging infrastructure development company founded by Pham Nhat Vuong, has signed separate Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with the Provincial Government of Bataan and Clean Fuel to accelerate the expansion of electric vehicle charging and battery swapping infrastructure in the Philippines. The initiatives aim to strengthen EV accessibility and convenience for both electric car and electric two-wheeler users, while supporting the broader adoption of sustainable mobility solutions nationwide.

Under the agreement with the Provincial Government of Bataan, V-GREEN will collaborate on the planning, deployment, and operation of a province-wide EV charging network covering one city and 11 municipalities. The project is expected to position Bataan as a leading model for EV adoption in the country. V-GREEN targets the deployment of 600 charging stations and 1,200 battery swapping stations across the province, with the company overseeing supply, installation, operations, and maintenance. Meanwhile, the provincial government will assist in permit facilitation, strategic site endorsements, and coordination with local government units to support the rollout.

In parallel, V-GREEN also entered into a strategic partnership with Clean Fuel to explore the installation of EV charging stations in high-traffic fuel stations in Dasmariñas, Cavite. With more than 100 stations across Luzon, Clean Fuel aims to integrate EV infrastructure into its existing retail network, enabling motorists to conveniently charge their vehicles at familiar stopover locations. The collaboration reflects both companies’ shared vision of advancing greener mobility while improving accessibility and convenience for Filipino consumers transitioning to electric transportation.

“These collaborations reflect our commitment to building a sustainable mobility ecosystem in the Philippines,” said Hon. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, Governor of Bataan. “By working with V-GREEN, we are laying the foundation for long-term development that promotes innovation and environmental responsibility.” Ms. Nguyen Anh Quynh, Global CEO of V-GREEN, added that expanding EV infrastructure requires both scale and accessibility, emphasizing that partnerships with both government and private sector stakeholders are essential in making electric mobility more practical for everyday Filipino users. The agreements also support the upcoming launch of VinFast electric scooters in the Philippines, ensuring that battery swapping infrastructure is available from day one while further enhancing convenience for existing VinFast EV owners.
