GLAN, Sarangani | 29 June 2026 — Reinforcing its commitment to supporting Filipino communities in times of crisis, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), in partnership with Isuzu General Santos and the Barangay Burias Local Government Unit, conducted a relief assistance program for families affected by the recent earthquake in Glan, Sarangani. A total of 250 families received relief packs containing food supplies, bottled water, and hygiene kits to help address their immediate needs as they recover from the disaster.

The relief initiative focused on residents of Barangay Burias, one of the communities most severely affected by the earthquake, where damaged homes, blocked roads, and limited access to markets disrupted daily life. Special attention was given to senior citizens and nearby coastal communities, ensuring that some of the most vulnerable residents received essential supplies during the recovery period.

Representing IPC during the turnover, Imelda Bernas, Assistant Vice President for Administration, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, emphasizing that supporting communities extends beyond its business operations. Barangay Captain Venancio Siao Wata III likewise expressed gratitude to IPC and Isuzu General Santos for their timely assistance, noting that the relief effort brought much-needed support and encouragement to families facing the challenges brought about by the earthquake.
The relief activity reflects IPC’s ongoing dedication to making a positive impact through meaningful partnerships and community initiatives. As recovery efforts continue across Sarangani, Isuzu Philippines remains committed to standing alongside affected communities, helping ease their burden while promoting solidarity, resilience, and hope as families rebuild their lives.
