She’s Back? Sharlet Gallarde Makes a Triumphant Return to the Podium

Once hailed as the Lady Rider of the Year, Sharlet “Baby 920” Gallarde has long been one of the brightest stars in Philippine motocross. After suffering a devastating crash during a motocross event in Cebu in September 2025, many wondered if her racing career would ever be the same. Although her pelvic fracture fixation surgery was successful, the road to recovery demanded months of intensive therapy, patience, and determination. Today, we saw her at the Honda E-Clutch Experience Day at the Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC), looking stronger and more confident as she continues her rehabilitation. Despite still needing another surgery in the future, Gallarde never lost sight of her goal—to return to the track stronger than ever, steadily working her way back toward full fitness.

That determination was on full display at Tanjay MX 2026, where the Honda Racing Team rider made an inspiring return to competition. Despite admitting she has not yet regained 100 percent of her condition, Gallarde delivered an impressive performance to finish second place in the Lady Rider category, proving that her competitive spirit remains as strong as ever. Her podium finish earned her well-deserved recognition and marked another milestone in her remarkable comeback journey. Even Gallarde herself could hardly believe she was back on the podium again.
