BEIJING, China – July 30, 2026 – Xiaomi EV has officially unveiled the Xiaomi SkyNomad Series, the first production model built on the company’s all-new Xiaomi Kunlun Platform, marking a significant milestone in its expanding electric vehicle business. Designed as an intelligent extended-range SUV for modern families, the SkyNomad combines class-leading interior space, flexible seating configurations, advanced safety technologies, and Xiaomi’s latest intelligent ecosystem. Available in the SkyNomad N90 Max seven-seater and SkyNomad N70 Max five-seater variants, the new lineup aims to redefine family mobility with premium technology at competitive pricing.
Built around the philosophy of “form follows function,” the SkyNomad Series prioritizes passenger comfort and versatility above all else. The flagship N90 Max measures 5,285 mm long with a 3,080 mm wheelbase, while the N70 Max stretches 4,960 mm with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Both models feature a completely flat cabin floor, configurable seating layouts, power-adjustable seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and cargo capacities of up to 1,831 liters. Powered by Xiaomi’s Kunlun HyperRange extended-range electric system, the N90 Max offers up to 464 km of electric-only range and 1,705 km of combined driving range, while the N70 Max delivers up to 505 km of pure electric driving range under the CLTC cycle.

Safety and intelligent technology are at the heart of the new platform. The SkyNomad Series features Xiaomi’s Armor Cage hybrid steel-aluminum body, Armor Scale Battery, and Kunlun Total Safety architecture, complemented by 12 airbags, a high-strength safety cell, advanced battery protection, and emergency escape systems. Inside, the SUV is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 automotive platform, supporting Xiaomi’s Hyper XiaoAi voice assistant, six-screen cabin connectivity, a 25-speaker premium audio system, head-up display, and intelligent smart-home integration. Assisted driving is handled by Xiaomi’s new XLA architecture, combining LiDAR, radar, cameras, and a 700 TOPS computing platform for advanced driver assistance capabilities.

Mechanically, the SkyNomad N90 Max features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 310 kW, double-wishbone front suspension, multi-link rear suspension, adjustable air suspension, and continuous damping control for refined ride quality despite its large dimensions. Xiaomi has also equipped the SUV with AI-powered intelligent cabin features, rotating seats, zero-gravity seating options, integrated refrigerator, wireless charging, and configurable living-space layouts that transform the vehicle into a mobile lounge, office, bedroom, or camping companion. Pre-orders have officially opened in China, with Xiaomi positioning the SkyNomad as its most technologically advanced and family-focused SUV to date.
