ACMobility Launches “Drive Electric. EV Safety Program.” to Build Consumer Confidence in Electric Mobility

ACMobility, the Ayala Group’s mobility arm and a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and infrastructure in the country, has launched its pioneering learning program, “Drive Electric. EV Safety Program.”Designed for EV advocates, prospective buyers, fleet operators, and the general public, the program aims to address common misconceptions about electric vehicles by providing practical and accessible information on EV technology, charging infrastructure, and safe EV ownership. Through comprehensive safety guidelines, ownership economics, and charging information, the program seeks to empower Filipinos to make more informed decisions about transitioning to electric mobility.

“As we continue to build an end-to-end electric mobility ecosystem, our ultimate priority is to empower the Filipino driver to make the shift to a more sustainable and cost-effective transport option. We are taking on the commitment to spread EV safety awareness through the Drive Electric. EV Safety Program, which aims to equip Filipinos with practical tools and accessible technical knowledge on EVs,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, Chief Executive Officer of ACMobility. Developed alongside professional instruction partners and in close alignment with key public and private entities, including the Department of Energy (DOE), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), and Philippine EV Community (PEVC), the program features a five-module curriculum covering fundamental EV concepts, total cost of ownership, long-term savings, safe charging, emergency protocols, and EV technology.

Following its launch, ACMobility will roll out the Drive Electric. EV Safety Program through a multi-phase nationwide campaign featuring corporate sessions, community workshops, and interactive showcases at major industry gatherings. The sessions will combine technical learning with hands-on test-drive opportunities, allowing participants to gain practical experience with EVs while receiving guidance from experts.
