Ducati proudly introduces the Monster 2026, the fifth generation of its legendary naked motorcycle that revolutionized the industry since its debut at the 1992 Cologne Motor Show. The new Monster continues the model’s timeless legacy with a perfect balance of style, performance, and technology, embodying the essence of the original: “everything you need, nothing more.” It remains an icon for riders seeking a motorcycle that is powerful, easy to ride, and unmistakably Ducati.
The 2026 Ducati Monster has been completely reengineered around the all-new V2 engine with IVT (Intake Variable Timing), delivering outstanding performance, lower maintenance, and smooth power delivery. Weighing just 175 kg (wet, no fuel), the new Monster is the lightest four-valve Monster ever. Its powerplant generates 111 hp at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, ensuring responsive acceleration across the rev range. With a record-setting 45,000 km valve clearance maintenance interval, Ducati sets a new benchmark for reliability and cost efficiency.

Design-wise, the Monster 2026 draws inspiration from the original 1992 model while adopting a more compact and muscular form. The redesigned bison-back tank, minimalist LED headlight, and refined single-seat tail pay homage to its roots while highlighting Ducati’s modern design language. The monocoque frame, Showa suspension, and Brembo braking system ensure a balanced mix of agility, comfort, and control. Riders will appreciate the lower seat height of 815 mm, ergonomic handlebars, and advanced 6-axis IMU-based electronic package that offers confidence and safety across all riding conditions.

Equipped with four customizable Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Urban, Wet) and an advanced 5” full-TFT display, the Monster 2026 delivers intuitive control and connectivity. The dashboard supports the Ducati Multimedia System, turn-by-turn navigation, and cruise control, while new petal-shaped joystick controls enhance usability. For those seeking personalization, Ducati offers a rich selection of accessories, from carbon fibre and billet aluminium components to Termignoni titanium exhausts, making each Monster uniquely individual.

The Ducati Monster 2026 will be available in Ducati Red and Iceberg White starting February 2026 in Europe, followed by March in the USA, April in Japan and Australia, June in Thailand, and August in China. The Monster+ variant adds a passenger seat cover and cowl for an even sportier aesthetic. Both versions are also offered in a 35 kW configuration for A2-licensed riders. With its combination of heritage, technology, and performance, the Monster 2026 reaffirms Ducati’s commitment to delivering motorcycles that are pure, powerful, and unmistakably Monster.
