Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has achieved a major milestone with the local production of its 900,000th unit of the Mitsubishi L300, highlighting the company’s long-standing commitment to quality manufacturing and operational excellence in the Philippines. The milestone underscores MMPC’s sustained production growth and the strong market demand for its locally assembled vehicles.
The Mitsubishi L300 has long been one of the most trusted commercial vehicles in the country, supporting businesses across various industries, from logistics to small and medium enterprises. MMPC attributed this achievement to the consistent demand for its completely knocked-down (CKD) models and the continuous kaizen initiatives of its Manufacturing Division, which focus on improving efficiency, strengthening quality, and optimizing production processes.

“This milestone reflects the dedication of our people and our commitment to continuous improvement,” said Ritsu Imaeda, President and CEO of MMPC. As the company moves forward, MMPC remains focused on enhancing its manufacturing capabilities, maintaining high quality standards, and continuing to deliver reliable vehicles that support business growth and mobility needs nationwide.
