foodpanda Celebrates 11 Years with ₱1.3M in Prizes and New Rider Support Programs

foodpanda Logistics recently celebrated its 11th anniversary in the Philippines with a nationwide “11UP” event dedicated to its Ka-panda partner riders. The hybrid celebration took place onsite in Pasig and was streamed online to thousands of riders across the country. A total of over ₱1.3 million worth of prizes were given away, including brand-new motorcycles won by riders from Mega Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, marking a memorable tribute to the hardworking individuals who keep the platform moving.

Ron Sanders, Rider Experience Lead at foodpanda Logistics, emphasized the importance of celebrating the milestone with Ka-panda riders, who play a vital role in the company’s success. He noted that the grand prizes, especially the motorcycles, were intentionally chosen as tools that directly support the riders’ livelihood. Sanders also assured that all regions were well-represented during the raffle, underscoring foodpanda’s commitment to inclusivity.

Beyond the anniversary event, foodpanda is continuing its rider-focused initiatives through the Rider Support Express program, which brings safety training and hands-on support to various cities. These efforts aim to enhance the wellbeing of partner riders on the road and further strengthen the partnership between the company and its delivery force.

One of the most significant developments is the launch of the Ka-panda Gasolinahan campaign in partnership with Caltex, offering an exclusive ₱10-per-liter fuel discount to Ka-panda riders nationwide. This year-long program, already active in key cities, is designed to help riders manage fuel expenses and improve their earnings. Sanders affirmed that this is only the beginning of a broader effort to give back to foodpanda’s delivery heroes.
