Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has once again reinforced its dominance in the Philippine truck industry, achieving a 10% year-on-year growth across truck categories III to V from January to August 2025. Based on the combined sales reports of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA), IPC retained its position as the overall market leader with a commanding 42.7% market share, selling 3,200 truck units compared to 2,912 in the same period last year.
“We at Isuzu Philippines are honored by the support of Filipino businesses and individuals, which reflects the trust we’ve built through our dedication to delivering the best customer experience—from sales to aftersales,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui. “The growth for each segment, from light-duty, medium-duty, to heavy-duty trucks, demonstrates our mission to provide reliable mobility solutions tailored to the diverse needs of our customers.”
Sustained Leadership Across All Truck Categories
Category III light-duty trucks emerged as the top-performing segment, with 1,934 units sold and a 42.9% market share. This surge was driven by the success of the Isuzu N-Series, a long-time favorite among logistics and distribution businesses nationwide. Featuring powerful engines, robust build quality, and driver-friendly features such as Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) and ergonomic cabin design, the N-Series remains the benchmark in light-duty trucking.

Medium-duty Category IV trucks also showed impressive results, selling 998 units for a 43% market share—a 4.4% increase over the previous year. The Isuzu F-Series continues to be the preferred choice for businesses requiring dependable transport solutions for long-distance and industrial operations. In the heavy-duty Category V segment, Isuzu achieved a 40.3% market share with 278 units sold. The Isuzu S&E Series, known for its robust chassis, payload capacity, and advanced features like Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and an Advanced Instrument Cluster with Driver Coaching, played a pivotal role in meeting the rising demand driven by government infrastructure projects and logistics growth.
Beyond Trucks: Comprehensive Aftersales Support
Isuzu’s market leadership is not just built on product excellence but also on its commitment to customer success. IPC offers extensive aftersales support through its nationwide dealer network, ensuring quick access to parts and services. The Isuzu Mobile Medic provides on-site maintenance and diagnostics, while Expert Field Engineers deliver technical support to clients across the country. Training programs for drivers and mechanics further promote safe, efficient vehicle operation—maximizing uptime and reducing operating costs.
Looking ahead, IPC remains optimistic about ending 2025 on a high note. “The steady growth throughout the year makes us confident about finishing strong,” added Tsukui. “Our continued mission to offer product excellence, innovative features, and comprehensive customer service ensures that Isuzu remains the most trusted truck brand in the Philippines.”
