MMDA Launches “May Huli Ka” Website to Check No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) Violations

  • Quickly find out if you have traffic violations through MMDA’s new online tool

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has officially launched the “May Huli Ka 2.0” website, an upgraded and more secure online platform that allows vehicle owners to easily check for traffic violations under the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP). MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes explained that the new system requires users to enter their vehicle’s plate number or conduction sticker number, along with their Motor Vehicle (MV) File Number, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access violation records. This improvement addresses data privacy concerns raised with the previous version, which only required a plate number.

“The inclusion of the MV file number is an added security and protection so that only the vehicle owners can securely check their violations under NCAP,” said Artes during the launch held at the MMDA Communications and Command Center in Pasig City. He emphasized that this upgrade enhances data security and promotes responsible monitoring of traffic infractions. The website also outlines the proper steps to take in case of a violation, including payment procedures, settlement locations, and how to file an appeal or contest.

How to use the “May Huli Ka” website:

  1. Enter your vehicle’s plate number or conduction sticker number, along with your MV (Motor Vehicle) File Number.
  2. Click “CHECK” to see if your vehicle has any NCAP violations.

According to the MMDA, the system provides real-time results and immediately informs users if their vehicle has any recorded violations under NCAP.

What else can you find on the website?

  • Details of any traffic violations
  • Step-by-step instructions on how to settle or pay the fines
  • Payment options and locations
  • How to contest or appeal a violation

To improve user convenience, the MMDA plans to introduce additional features such as access to detailed violation data (photo/video evidence, time, date, type of violation), real-time SMS and email notifications, online hearing schedules, payment integration, and multi-vehicle account management. The launch was attended by PNP Chief General Nicolas Torre III and representatives from transport groups, ride-hailing firms, and transport network vehicle services. The website is now live and accessible at http://mayhulika.mmda.gov.ph.
