Tesla has officially made its entrance into the Philippines with the opening of the new Tesla Experience Centre at Uptown Parade, Taguig City. This marks the next step in Tesla’s global mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. The Tesla Experience Centre offers a comprehensive, one-stop solution for every step of ownership—from vehicle purchase and delivery to after-sales service.

As part of the debut, Tesla introduced two of its best-selling models: the Tesla Model Y and Model 3, both of which are now available for public viewing at an exclusive pop-up in Uptown Mall, Level One Atrium, from now until November 15, 2024. These vehicles are also on display at the new Tesla Experience Centre.
The Model Y, crowned the world’s best-selling vehicle in 2023, offers a perfect blend of performance, range, safety, and cutting-edge technology. With a cargo space of 2.1 cubic meters, it provides seating for up to five passengers and their belongings. The vehicle’s dual motors deliver ultra-responsive power, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, with a range of up to 533 km (WLTP). The Model Y starts at PHP 2,369,000.
The upgraded Model 3 boasts a refined exterior design for optimized aerodynamics and a refreshed interior. With extended range and enhanced features, the Model 3 delivers a thrilling driving experience, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, while offering up to 629 km of range (WLTP) on a single charge. The Model 3 starts at PHP 2,109,000.

Tesla will also launch the Tesla Design Studio in the Philippines, enabling customers to customize their vehicles—from exterior and interior options to advanced features—allowing for tailored production based on individual preferences. The first deliveries of the Model 3 and Model Y in the Philippines are set for early 2025.
Tesla has also announced plans for its Supercharger network in the Philippines, starting with the country’s first indoor Supercharger station at Uptown Mall, which will feature four Superchargers. Tesla intends to open additional Supercharging stations across strategic locations, ensuring seamless long-distance travel for Tesla owners. With Supercharging, the Model Y can charge up to 120 km in just 5 minutes. Supercharging will be offered on a pay-per-use basis at PHP 19 per kWh, with a full charge costing approximately PHP 1,140.

Tesla vehicles in the Philippines will benefit from number coding exemptions, aligning with the country’s push towards sustainability and allowing daily electric-powered adventures for customers.
