Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. proudly supports “Tamang Ride,” an innovative road safety movement launched by ACTION, Inc. (A Child’s Trust is Ours to Nurture), which aims to promote safe driving practices and create a child-friendly society in the Philippines. Set for official launch in May 2025, “Tamang Ride” will introduce a Mobile App that compiles user data and gathers automotive and motorcycle industry stakeholders to advocate for safer roads, focusing on children and all road users. Yamaha becomes the first motorcycle brand to back this initiative, reflecting its strong commitment to road safety.
The advocacy unites various stakeholders, including car and motorcycle manufacturers, influencers, private enterprises, and commuters, to tackle critical traffic safety challenges. The mission emphasizes educating road users on responsible driving, fostering a culture of road awareness, especially for children and beginner drivers, and developing accessible tools and programs to promote road safety effectively. As a Road Safety Guardian, Yamaha Motor Philippines leads the charge in empowering communities to make roads safer for everyone.

The partnership was solidified during the official contract signing at Yamaha’s flagship store, The YZone, with key representatives from both Yamaha and ACTION, Inc. in attendance. Yamaha’s commitment will support several impactful programs, including road safety education for children and beginners, the development of an app to map high-risk areas, and community engagement through training programs and awareness campaigns. These efforts aim to instill safer driving habits and reduce accidents across the country.
Yamaha will also back public awareness campaigns featuring educational content and collaborations with influencers, artists, and rider clubs to spread the message of safe driving. Community-based events will spotlight testimonials from accident survivors to emphasize the importance of road safety. All proceeds from these initiatives will go toward supporting ACTION, Inc., with transparent financial reporting to ensure accountability.
