Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has officially introduced the highly anticipated 2025 Isuzu mu-X, redefining luxury, comfort, performance, and safety in the SUV segment. Following its outstanding success in Thailand, where it led the PPV segment in 2024, and in Australia, where it became a top choice for families and adventurers, the new mu-X is set to make waves in the Philippine market. Designed to meet the evolving needs of Filipino drivers, this latest model combines durability, innovation, and premium styling to deliver an SUV experience that goes beyond expectations.

The 2025 Isuzu mu-X features a bold new design inspired by fighter jet aerodynamics, giving it a commanding presence on the road. Its refreshed Dynamic Front Grille, sculpted hood, and redesigned bumper with an integrated Air Curtain function not only enhance aesthetics but also improve aerodynamics for a smoother ride. The addition of New Dynamic Blade Bi-Beam LED Headlamps and 20-inch Dynamic Turbine Alloy Wheels further elevates its striking appearance. These upgrades contribute to improved fuel efficiency and driving comfort, ensuring that the mu-X remains a top choice for Filipino SUV buyers.
Inside, the new mu-X offers first-class comfort with a refined all-black leather interior, ambient cabin lighting, and premium piano black accents. The newly upgraded leather-wrapped steering wheel provides a better grip, while the 7-inch Multi-Information Display (MID) keeps drivers informed with crucial data, including eco-driving insights and Rough Terrain Mode settings. The centerpiece of the cabin is the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A wireless charging feature ensures seamless connectivity, making the mu-X an ideal SUV for modern families and professionals who value both convenience and technology.

Under the hood, the 2025 Isuzu mu-X is powered by the reliable 4JJ3-TCX 3.0L Blue Power engine, producing 190 PS and 450 N-m of torque. Its proven 4×4 drivetrain now includes a Traction Control System with Rough Terrain Mode, enhancing grip and stability on challenging surfaces. With an improved suspension system and chassis design, the mu-X offers a smoother, more controlled ride, whether navigating city streets or tackling off-road adventures. These enhancements allow the mu-X to balance power with efficiency, making it the perfect SUV for diverse Philippine driving conditions.
Safety remains a top priority in the new mu-X, featuring an upgraded Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) with Isuzu’s Gen4 SMART Duo Camera. This system provides a 120-degree field of view and extended detection range, improving pedestrian and obstacle detection. The SUV also introduces a 360-degree Around View Monitor for enhanced visibility in tight spaces, along with a built-in Digital Video Recorder (DVR) for added security. Additional safety features include Front Parking Sensors and Rear Cross Traffic Brake (RCTB), reinforcing Isuzu’s commitment to driver and passenger protection. These state-of-the-art technologies position the mu-X as one of the safest SUVs in the market.
The 2025 Isuzu mu-X is available in four variants, with prices starting at ₱1,725,000 for the RZ4E 4×2 LS AT and reaching ₱2,670,000 for the 3.0L 4×4 LS-E AT. A new Eiger Gray color option is now available for LS-E and LS-A variants. Isuzu enthusiasts and potential buyers can experience the latest mu-X firsthand at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show from April 10-13 at the World Trade Center, Pasay.
