Access Plus Racing Ready to Debut New Ducati Panigale V4 at Clark as PSBK Competition Intensifies

Clark, Pampanga – Access Plus Racing heads into Round 2 of the 2026 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) at Clark International Speedway (CIS) with strong momentum after securing a dominant pair of 1–2 finishes during the season opener at Batangas Racing Circuit. After making a surprise switch to the Ducati Panigale V2 at the opening round, the team is now ready to debut Ducati’s all-new 7th-generation Panigale V4 in full race trim following an extensive testing and development program. Championship leader Timothy Joseph “TJ” Alberto and younger brother Troy Alberto will spearhead the team’s campaign as they look to continue their strong start to the season.

The new Ducati Panigale V4 represents one of the most significant updates to Ducati’s superbike platform, featuring revised aerodynamics, updated chassis geometry, a new double-sided swingarm, and the latest MotoGP-derived Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. TJ Alberto enters the weekend aiming for a sixth consecutive PSBK Rider of the Year title, while Troy Alberto looks to build on his impressive pace from the opening round. Both riders expect a more competitive challenge at Clark, with additional riders, including Japanese competitor Akito Haga, expected to join the grid and elevate the level of competition.

Despite the anticipated challenges and the possibility of unpredictable weather conditions throughout the race weekend, Access Plus Racing remains confident in its preparations and the potential of Ducati’s latest superbike. Team Principal Toti Alberto believes Round 2 will serve as a crucial proving ground for the Panigale V4 against a stronger field of competitors. Qualifying takes place on June 6, while the pre-final and final races are scheduled for June 7. Access Plus Racing is supported by Ducati Philippines, Shell Advance, Brembo, Öhlins Racing, Sprint Filter, Macbeth, DID Chains, Aella, Motoworld, Capit Performance, LV8 – Elevate, Extreme Components, and Rudy Project.
