Aston Martin Unveils Valen, Its Most Powerful Front-Engined V12 Supercar

Aston Martin has introduced Valen, the most powerful front-engined production car from the marque and the most powerful front-engined V12 supercar in its 113-year history. Created by Q by Aston Martin with the expertise of the newly formed Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) department, Valen combines an aggressive new design language with extreme performance, lightweight engineering, and bespoke craftsmanship. Limited to just 150 examples worldwide, the latest V12 special takes inspiration from the Latin word valens, meaning “strong” or “powerful,” while continuing Aston Martin’s tradition of distinctive “V” names.

At the heart of Valen is Aston Martin’s most powerful iteration of its 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12, producing 850 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque from 2,500 rpm. Power is delivered through a sharper-shifting eight-speed ZF automatic transmission incorporating race-derived shift strategies from the Vantage GT4 program, enabling a 0-60 mph time of 3.0 seconds and an electronically limited 214 mph top speed. Extensive chassis and software calibration, including Sport, Sport+ and Track drive modes, sharper steering, Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes and model-specific suspension tuning, further enhance the car’s agility and driver engagement.

Valen also prioritizes weight reduction, shedding up to 110 kg compared with the core V12 platform through the extensive use of carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium and magnesium. A full-carbon-fiber body is complemented by lightweight magnesium wheels, while an optional lightweight package saves a further 16.9 kg. Aston Martin-tuned Pirelli P Zero R or P Zero Winter 2 tires, incorporating Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre technology, provide additional grip and real-time tire data for the vehicle’s dynamic control systems. Its bespoke titanium exhaust system, featuring 3D-printed titanium tailpipe finishers and a quad-exit layout, delivers an enhanced V12 soundtrack to match its performance.

Visually, Valen represents a dramatic reinterpretation of Aston Martin’s front-engined formula, featuring deeply recessed headlights, a plunging bonnet, aggressive grille and splitter, functional side vents, sculpted rear haunches and a full-width rear light bar. Inside, the cabin adopts a more focused sporting character with a slim center console, advanced 3D-printed components and a choice of Sports Plus or lightweight carbon-fiber performance seats, while Q by Aston Martin offers extensive personalization possibilities. Production is strictly limited to 150 units, with first customer deliveries scheduled for Q2 2027.
