Back-to-back Wins for Sharlet Gallarde

It’s a back-to-back win this year for motocross rider Sharlet Gallarde when she competed anew during the Davson’s Pro Motocross Championship Race and the 1st Tiger Motocross series 2021 where she also won 1st place in the Ladies category.

It’s been nearly 2 years since the 15-year old stunner was able to compete and that was prior to the onset of Covid 19 pandemic.

Known for her handle Motocross Baby 920, Gallarde has dedicated her time to motocross eversince she was 8 years old. This included her participation to the 2019 FIM Asia Supercross NAMSSA and the 2019 2nd Leg Asian Motocross. She has been competing in different parts of Visayas, Mindanao and occasionally in Metro Manila, her latest competition participation was in Thailand before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

Like other major sport events, motocross was also among the competitions that had to pause in compliance with the safety protocols and guidelines, putting all riders below 18 years old including Gallarde in hiatus. Meanwhile, Gallarde pivoted through helping her parents man their store in between attending her online classes.  Just until the guidelines have eased and she can now practice in an old racetrack of the City Government of Sagay in Negros Occidental following her recent double wins.
