Caltex Loyalty Rewards Program and Social Investment Projects

  • Caltex initiatives help cushion customers from impact of rising world oil prices
  • Various loyalty rewards programs and social investment projects highlight best-value fuels motorists can buy

From discount lanes for public utility vehicles (PUVs), P100 worth of free fuels, rewards points for dining or shopping to programs for high-need public high schools and millions in donations to disaster relief efforts – nowhere do motorists get more benefits and value per liter each time they fuel up at Caltex.

Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), continues to reward the loyalty of its patrons and give back to Filipinos with year-round projects that open opportunities for disadvantaged people.

Many Caltex stations across the country provide discount lanes to PUVs, offering as much as P4.00 off per liter. This helps the drivers stretch their budget to shoulder the increase in prices of oil and commodities.

Caltex loyalty programs with recognized brands such as HappyPlus and Robinsons Rewards Card, entitle customers with food products, loyalty points and/or fuel discounts, respectively. By using their HappyPlus card, customers who fuel up at Caltex can earn points that they can then redeem in the form of their favorite meals. This year, until June 15, 2018, Caltex gave 3x the points for HappyPlus members so that motorists can have more food products at triple the fun.

Caltex is on its 3rd anniversary with Robinsons Rewards Card where members get rewards points each time they gas up at Caltex, enabling them to stretch their grocery, shopping or fuel budget. Landers Superstore members can also avail of fuel discounts at co-located Caltex sites.

Caltex remains active in helping public high schools acquire more modern teaching and learning equipment.

For the past 3 years, the Fuel Your School campaign of Caltex has been able to provide P11 million-worth of STEM resources to 88 schools, 3,000 public high school teachers, and over one million public high school students in Metro Manila, Davao, and Bicol. These efforts were recognized by different award-giving bodies such as the Silver and Gold Anvil Awards from Public Relations Society of the Philippines, a merit recognition from the coveted Quill Awards, and the American Chamber of Commerce CSR Excellence Awards.

Caltex FYS is now ongoing in the Ilocos Region and CAR, where it will donate P3 million to help this years’ 30 chosen high-need public high schools.

“We understand the needs and concerns of motorists, especially when inflation is high and commodity prices are on the rise. We hope to aid them in their daily journey and continue to provide the best-value products and services in the country,” said Atty. Raissa Bautista, manager for Policy, Government and Public Affairs, CPI.

Caltex has donated millions in social investment programs for public school renovations, computer donations, literacy programs, livelihood projects, health initiatives and other activities that help disadvantaged people. Caltex is also a regular donor of the Philippine Red Cross, contributing millions to calamity and recovery efforts.

Caltex has set up pioneering projects for the environment such as the multi-use Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in Caubian, Cebu and Poro, San Fernando, La Union. The Caubian MPA guards a major portion of the Danajon Bank, the country’s only double barrier reef and a very important source of biodiversity. The Poro MPA has been adopted by the local city government, and local fisherfolk are learning new means of livelihood from a people’s organization also set up by Caltex.

Caltex continues to find ways to bring best-value products and services and address the needs of motorists, even more so in the face of current surges in world oil prices.
