DEEPAL Philippines officially opened its first flagship showroom in the Philippines along Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s local expansion and reinforcing its commitment to advancing intelligent and electrified mobility in the country. The launch event gathered government officials, automotive industry leaders, financial partners, media representatives, and customers who witnessed the unveiling of DEEPAL’s integrated sales and aftersales facility.

Present during the inauguration were Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos, Antonio Suva Jr., executives from Changan Automobile led by Leslie Wu, and representatives from Autohub Group and DEEPAL Philippines. Wu reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to the Philippine market, highlighting the partnership with Autohub Group in bringing advanced, intelligent, and sustainable mobility solutions closer to Filipino customers.

Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten described the showroom launch as the beginning of a new era in mobility, emphasizing DEEPAL’s Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology as a practical breakthrough that combines efficiency, performance, and everyday usability for local motorists. He also underscored the long-term ownership benefits of electrified mobility, including reduced fuel dependency, lower operating costs, and improved efficiency, while noting that partnerships with banking and insurance institutions will help make new energy vehicles more accessible to a broader market.

A key highlight of the event was the ceremonial turnover of 12 DEEPAL units to pioneer owners of the S05 and G318 REEV models, marking the brand’s first official vehicle deliveries in the Philippines, with an additional 56 units scheduled for release in the coming days due to strong early demand. The new DEEPAL Shaw showroom spans approximately 1,562 square meters and features four display vehicles and 10 service bays, designed to provide a complete ownership experience through integrated sales and aftersales support. Exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Autohub Group, DEEPAL continues to position itself as a key player in the country’s transition toward future-ready and sustainable mobility.
