Building on the success of the 2023 edition, which set the stage for a record-breaking season, Ducati once again chose the picturesque Dolomites of Madonna di Campiglio in Trentino to kickstart the racing season for its official teams. The anticipation of fans worldwide is set to soar as the season unfolds starting from February.

The “Campioni in Pista” event, a collaboration between Ducati, the Madonna di Campiglio Tourist Board, and Trentino Marketing, supported by Audi and partners Lenovo, Aruba.it, Monster Energy, and Shell, underscores Ducati’s commitment to creating memorable experiences. The synergy between Ducati and Madonna di Campiglio not only celebrates Italian beauty but also exemplifies the excellence of “Made in Italy.”

The highlight of the “Campioni in Pista” was the official presentation of the Ducati teams on January 22, 2024, at the PalaCampiglio, streamed live on Ducati’s and Dorna’s digital channels. This event showcased Ducati’s strategic emphasis on racing, featuring the simultaneous presentation of the Ducati Lenovo Team for the MotoGP Championship, the Aruba.it – Racing Ducati Team for the Superbike Championship, and a historic moment with the debut of the Ducati Desmo450 MX in the motocross arena.

Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Ducati’s racing season starts again from Madonna di Campiglio, a location that perfectly expresses the ‘Made in Italy’ values of which we are proud ambassadors.” He emphasized the significance of presenting all three teams together, symbolizing a unitary project with a shared Ducati Red livery.

The festivities continued with a public meeting of Ducati riders in the center of Madonna di Campiglio, featuring World Champions Francesco Bagnaia (MotoGP), Álvaro Bautista (WorldSBK), Nicolò Bulega (WorldSSP), Enea Bastianini, and motocross champions Antonio Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino. The event showcased all bikes competing in 2024, emphasizing Ducati’s diverse racing endeavors.

Audi’s direct involvement added prestige to “Campioni in Pista,” reflecting an 11-year collaboration with Madonna di Campiglio. Audi’s commitment to sustainable mobility and ecosystem preservation was highlighted, with the presentation of the new “Mountain Progress Lab” project during the event.

While part of the team headed to Jerez de la Frontera for the first WorldSBK test of the season on January 23, riders Bagnaia, Bastianini, and Ducati management enjoyed a sunrise ski and an exhilarating downhill race on the iconic 3Tre slope, part of the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena. The event showcased Ducati’s dedication to excellence both on and off the track, setting the stage for an exciting and challenging 2024 season.
