Filipinos considering the shift to electric mobility will have the opportunity to test-drive and compare models from more than 15 vehicle brands at the 14th Philippine EV Summit (PEVS), happening October 22 to 24, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Organized by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), this year’s test-drive and display program brings together a diverse lineup covering city cars, family SUVs, premium and performance vehicles, commercial models, and electric two-wheelers.

Among the participating brands are BYD, Kia, Toyota, Nissan, MG, Zeekr, Deepal, MINI, Lotus, Changan, AVATR, Dongfeng Motors, Forland, NWOW, and NXT, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the growing range of electric mobility options available in the Philippine market. “The best way to understand an EV is to drive one,” said EVAP President Willy Q. Tee Ten. “At PEVS, you can try a family SUV in the morning, sit in a performance car after lunch, and test an e-motorcycle before you head home. That kind of side-by-side comparison helps people make a confident decision about which EV fits their lifestyle and budget.”
Beyond vehicle displays and test drives, PEVS 2026 will showcase the broader electric mobility ecosystem, including charging solutions for homes, businesses and fleets, as well as banking, financing and insurance partners. Visitors can also hear from policy experts, including representatives from the Department of Energy, about the roadmap shaping the country’s EV industry. Carrying the theme “Driving ASEAN Forward: Building an Integrated Electric Mobility Ecosystem,” the summit reflects the Philippines’ role as ASEAN chair in 2026 and the region’s growing momentum toward electrification. PEVS 2026 runs from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, with general admission at ₱100 at the gate, while students with valid school IDs enter for free. Registration is open at evsummit.net.
