GAC GS4 MAX HEV ARRIVES IN THE PHILIPPINES WITH HYBRID EFFICIENCY, SUV VERSATILITY, AND SMART VALUE

GAC Philippines has officially launched the GAC GS4 MAX HEV, a next-generation hybrid SUV designed to meet the needs of growing Filipino families with a combination of efficiency, space, comfort, safety, and technology. Powered by a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle hybrid engine, a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), and a 2.1 kWh NCM battery, the GS4 MAX HEV produces a combined 232 HP and 300 Nm of motor torque, while offering up to 1,250 km of total driving range on a single tank. The model is introduced at an SRP of ₱1,298,000, with an introductory price of ₱1,218,000 after an ₱80,000 introductory savings for reservations made until September 30, 2026.

The GS4 MAX HEV is engineered around family-friendly space and comfort, featuring a 2,750 mm wheelbase and 1,901 mm body width to provide generous passenger room across both rows. Its cabin comes with a Minimalist Black interior, panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, zero-pressure comfort seats, rear air vents, acoustic insulation, and multiple storage areas, while the second-row seats can fold completely flat to maximize cargo flexibility. Safety features include a high-strength steel safety structure, multiple airbags, Surround View Camera System, and a comprehensive Level 2 Driver Assistance Suite with Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Integrated Cruise Assist.

Beyond its hybrid powertrain and family-oriented packaging, the GS4 MAX HEV features a distinctive exterior highlighted by a Qilin-inspired front fascia, Qingyun Ladder matrix grille, Morning Star LED headlights, full-width Changhong LED taillights, and electric hidden door handles.
